  2. Log into Nooks at https://app.nooks.in/login by signing in with your email address or associated Single Sign On (SSO) tool.

  3. Confirm that your CRM is connected to Nooks. Go to Settings > Integrations > CRM. You will know the integration is successfully connected when you see a green dot by the CRM name 🟢.

If you do not see a green dot 🟢:

    • Salesforce: Click on Connect Salesforce. You will be prompted to log in with OAuth. Once you have logged in, refresh your browser. You will know the integration is successfully connected when you see a green dot by the CRM name.

    • HubSpot: If you do not see a green dot, contact your Nooks Administrator.

Helpful Tip: You can come back to this setting at any time to update your email alias in Nooks.

  1. Fill out your team’s required dynamic variables. These are used to populate values in emails. Any sequence containing an email using an unpopulated dynamic variable will fail to sequence.

Helpful Tip: Pin the Nooks Chrome extension to your browser. Select Extensions (puzzle piece icon) > pin the extension (thumbtack icon).

  2. Grant the correct permissions to the Chrome extension. This will enable your email features (Gmail only), CRM features, and LinkedIn features. Click on the Nooks extension in the upper-right corner of your browser, then:

    • Press the Grant Permissions button at the top of the extension.

    • If you don't see the Grant Permissions button, check that your email (Gmail only), CRM, and LinkedIn features are enabled.

  1. Disable any other SEP Chrome extensions (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, Groove, etc.) while using the Nooks Sequencing extension. This is because similar extensions may compete for real estate in your browser.

To do this, click on the puzzle piece where Chrome extensions are stored in your browser, and then select "Manage Extensions". Then Remove the other SEP Chrome Extension, or toggle it off so that it is not running in your browser.

LinkedIn Setup

  1. Connect your LinkedIn account to enable your account to use Nooks' LinkedIn automations in Sequences. In Nooks, click Settings (lower-left) > All Settings > Sequencing > LinkedIn.

If you see a message stating Could not load your LinkedIn profile. Please ensure the Nooks Chrome extension is installed and you are logged into LinkedIn, then:

    1. Ensure the Nooks Chrome extension is installed, toggled on, and up-to-date; and,

    2. Ensure that you are logged into your LinkedIn account on your current browser.

  1. (Optional) Adjust your Daily LinkedIn Connection Request Limit. This limit controls the maximum number of LinkedIn Connection Requests that Nooks Sequencing can send through your account per day.

Nooks recommends and defaults this setting to 20 Connection Requests per day to keep you within LinkedIn's weekly Connection Request limits. If you regularly send or plan to send Connection Requests outside of Sequences, consider choosing a lower limit in Nooks.

Scheduling Settings

  1. In Nooks, navigate to Settings > All Settings > Sequencing > Email to configure your Timezone and Working Hours Schedule.

  2. Set your User Timezone. The timezone you select here is used to display dates and times in Nooks, as well as scheduling tasks and emails.

  3. Set your Working Hours Schedule. Your Working Hours Schedule controls when your tasks are due and when your emails are sent. Either use the Default Working Hours Schedule that your internal Nooks admin team has configured (visible at the bottom of the page), or define your own Working Hours Schedule.
